NEVADA POWER SURE BET PROGRAM PARTNERS WITH EGB
Nevada Power Sure Bet Program has been designated as the Elite Host Sponsor of EGB 2008 and will co-locate a one-day conference and regional partner exhibition with the EGB Conference & Expo.
Nevada Power Sure Bet Program activities will take place on Tuesday, October 21. A trade show of exhibit stations staffed by regional partners will feature the latest energy-saving technology and energy-efficient-equipment installation services throughout the day.
In addition, a Nevada Power Sure Bet Program Awards Ceremony will take place during the EGB Welcome Reception on the evening of October 21. The awards ceremony will recognize commercial/institutional/industrial energy savings strategies that utilize Nevada Power Sure Bet Program expertise and incentives.
The Sure Bet Program is designed to facilitate the implementation of cost effective energy efficiency improvements in new and existing businesses throughout the state.
"Nevada Power is putting energy conservation and renewable energy at the forefront for the state's electric customers," said Greg Kern, Nevada Power's director of energy efficiency & customer strategy. "Making businesses more energy efficient can help reduce high energy bills and is good for the environment we all share."
In conjunction with the Nevada Power Sure Bet Program partnership, special group rates and exhibit hall passes are available. See the registration page for details.
EGB RETURNS TO LAS VEGAS FOR 2008!
2008 Engineering Green Buildings Conference and Expo
Oct. 21 and 22, 2008
Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino
Las Vegas
The only networking and educational event dedicated to green mechanical systems design, technology and applications in nonresidential buildings.
YOU NEED TO BE GREEN TO GROW
Welcome to www.egbconference.com, the website for information about the Engineering Green Buildings Conference & Expo.
Produced and managed by HPAC Engineering magazine, EGB is the only event of its kind. Meaning it's the only networking and educational event devoted exclusively to designing, specifying and selecting green mechanical systems for non-residential buildings. There are plenty of events promoting green products and green construction out there, but none of them are dedicated exclusively to green mechanical systems.
EGB 2008 will be the fifth annual EGB Conference & Expo. Following on the heels of a highly successful EGB 2007, we're returning to Las Vegas and the Mandaly Bay Resort & Casino and will hold this year's event on October 21 & 22.
If you're an engineer, architect, mechanical contractor, facility manager, building owner/operator or other buildings professional involved in the design, specification and/or selection of mechanical systems and components, EGB 2008 is a must-attend event.
- Learn how green-building requirements apply to mechanical systems.
- Find out how mechanical systems can be designed to meet those requirements and help a building project achieve "green" status and/or LEED certification.
- Attend technical sessions on energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor environmental quality, sustainability and more.
- Meet vendors demonstrating the energy savings and other green characteristics of their mechanical systems, components, equipment, software, technology and services.
- Network with industry peers who are involved in green-building projects.
- Find solutions to your green-design challenges.
This website provides information on EGB 2008 sessions, speakers and exhibitors/sponsors. It also allows you to register online. Presently, we're finalizing the conference program and will add sessions and speakers as they are confirmed.
Of special note, we have retained renowned green-building industry leader Jerry Yudelson as our keynote speaker. Click here for details.
We're also featuring an Early Bird Registration Special: register by August 1 and receive a $150 discount on the cost of the conference plus a complimentary copy of Jerry Yudelson's latest book, "The Green Building Revolution." Click here for details.
