Ron Wilkinson – PE, LEED AP

Ron Wilkinson is an authority on commissioning Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System projects and sustainable buildings. He is the author of the first commissioning training program for LEED for New Construction and Major Renovations, the chair of the commissioning advisory committee of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on the Environment, and the recording secretary for American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Guideline Project Committee 0.2/1.2, The Commissioning Process for Existing Building Systems and Assemblies/The Commissioning Process for Existing HVAC&R Systems. An ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer and an AIA Continuing Education Lecturer, he has spoken on commissioning practices internationally. He is a longtime member of HPAC Engineering's Editorial Advisory Board.

His industry and community involvement includes service as a member of the boards of the USGBC and the Association of Energy Engineers. He is a member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers Technical Committee 7.6, Systems Energy Utilization.

The founder and president of DLB Associates, Don Beaty chaired American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers Technical Committee (TC) 9.9, Mission Critical Facilities, Technology Spaces and Electronic Equipment, from its inception until June 2006. Currently the international chair of TC 9.9, he has presented on data-center topics in more than 20 countries and published more than 50 technical papers and articles. He is a licensed engineer in more than 40 states and a longtime member of HPAC Engineering's Editorial Advisory Board.

Jon Greenberg works closely with managers of commercial and public-sector facilities to evaluate HVAC systems, present detailed return-on-investment analyses, and provide support through project implementation. Prior to joining Optimum Energy, he worked as a sales engineer for Nalco Co., designing and implementing water-treatment solutions for large institutional and manufacturing clients. He began his engineering career in design with Remington & Vernick Engineers, where he was responsible for stormwater and HVAC projects.
